11.10.09 Photo of the Day

I took this photo to prove a point (not 100% sure it did, but I tried). I get a lot of weird looks everyday carrying my camera around and snapping pictures. A lot of people want to know what I "saw" that made me want to take a picture. My response is that almost anything can be pretty / interesting in a photo. (and Laura, I hope you don't mind, but I showed them your recent gas station photo and was partially vindicated by that alone!) So I said I'd photograph our very disgusting trash bin at the office and that I thought a pretty pitcure would come out of it. I only snapped a few because they throw food away in there and it stinks. But here it is, my "I'm proving a point" picture - the latch of our trash bin. I think it's pretty. ; )
