It's Friday again! My favorite day of the week and even more of a favorite because my birthday is this weekend and I get to spend the whooooole weekend celebrating! This weeks photo comes from hotomom. Here's what she was looking for in her "fixes." She wanted the cheeks to be less rosy, the shot to not be so straight and her eyes to be brighter. Here's the original:
Pretty cute kid, if you ask me. I did two of the three things, I actually really liked the angle of the shot, so I didn't make any changes to the framing or anything. My "fix:"
In Photoshop, I made this into three layers. A heavily saturated one on the bottom (no those were some rosey cheeks), a normal one in the middle, and a black and white version on top set to 60% transparency. So the rosiness on the cheeks looks pretty cool. I also made the eyes stay the normal color so that they would pop!
She really is pretty! Such fun edits!
